Keep it play money, keep it play

Free to play, yet still 18+: why

Social casino games copy real gambling’s look, sound and pace. So Parrot Cove Club is only for adults over the legal gambling age, and nothing here targets anyone under 18. Age gets checked twice: on the welcome banner when you arrive, and with a tick before your account is created.

Things the cove will never do

• Offer real-money gambling, or ever promote it.
• Give out prizes of real-world value.
• Sell coins or slip in in-app purchases.
• Steer crew towards gambling operators or their affiliates.
• Rely on countdowns or streaks to pull you back.

A straight word of warning

Free games can be tuned to feel generous, and they refill your coins for nothing. Real-money games never do either. However good your luck on the island, it predicts nothing about how you would get on with real money at stake.

Red flags to look out for

• Sessions that run well past your plan.
• Snapping at people when you stop.
• Spinning to shake off a mood.
• Losing sleep, work hours or time with people to the reels.
• Searching for a version that uses real money.

Holding the tiller

• Set your play time before the first spin.
• Autoplay stays off.
• Take a break often.
